Atlanta music producer Metro Boomin’s mother, Leslie Joanne Wayne, was killed Friday (June 3) night allegedly by her husband before he killed himself, TMZ reports, citing unnamed sources involved in the investigation.
His representative confirmed to TMZ that Wayne died this weekend and requested privacy for the family while they grieve their loss. The police discovered her body outside the Atlanta area. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Wayne’s husband is not Metro Boomin’s father, according to TMZ. Other outlets said the killer was her boyfriend.
