At the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, Nicki Minaj will be awarded an honor that puts her in elite company.
MTV has announced that the Queen will be awarded the MTV Video Vanguard Award - previously earned by only three other rappers: LL Cool J, Kanye West and Missy Elliot.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ Aug. 28th at 8pm ET. Nicki will also be performing on the show for the first time since 2018.
