One local company is offering Jaguars tickets to students through an essay contest.
Hester Group is giving students at challenged schools a chance to communicate their dream and cheer on the home team in a new contest.
The "Win with Words" contest is extended to students at Andrew Jackson, Jean Ribault, William M. Raines, and Schools for the Future.
Students must submit an essay explaining why they want to pursue a career in the field of communications. All essays must be submitted by October 15.
Hester Group President Hester Taylor Clark hopes the contest will not only inspire students to consider a career in the field of Communications, but also emphasize the importance of good writing skills. "The contest is designed to spark a level of creativity in the students, and demonstrate that strong writing skills can be a catalyst to success," Clark says.
Hester Group will judge the essays and select one winner from each school. The winners will receive 2 tickets each to a Jaguars' home game.
