The Current Apple iPhone has only a 3.5-inch, and it had been that was since 2007. Apple will be replacing the screen with “at least four inches diagonally,” according to the Wall Street Journal.

Many companies are working on this new, larger screen. These include, Japan Display, LG Display, and Sharp. So… why is apple doing this? Because the Strategy Analytics Wireless Device lab claimed that “almost 90 percent of Smartphone owners” want a bigger screen.

There are also rumors that the next iPhone will feature haptic touch-feedback technology built into the screen. This will allow you to feel on-screen elements as buttons.
