A clean and sober Lamar Odom was in court today(Monday) to plead "no contest" in his DUI case. It is part of a deal that will get him probation for the next 3 years according to TMZ. If you remember Odom was arrested in L.A. on August 30 at after cops saw him driving too slow on the 101 Freeway. He flunked field sobriety tests and refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. He was ultimately charged with one count of DUI. Odom will also take some education classes and pay a fine, read more at TMZ.com. Odom's driver's license was automatically suspended for one year for refusing to submit to the BAC test and that punishment will stand.

It looks like there will be quite a few fellas stepping up on the stage on Grammy night. And Jay Z could be leading them. He grabbed nine nominations, including Best Rap Album for ‘Magna Carter…Holy Grail. Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Kendrik Lamar and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis all nabbed seven nominations apiece and some will also compete against each other in the coveted Album of the Year category. Kelly paid a visit to "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday, Dec. 5 and talked about his soon to be released album "Black Panties” and his goal of delivering a production on Broadway, likely a version of Trapped In The Closet. "As long as there is life, “Trapped In The Closet” is about life," Kelly told Kimmel when asked about how he keeps it going when it doesn't seem like it could go an further. "It's the weirdest thing. It's like an alien man. I don't even know how this stuff comes to me man. I get in the studio... all these characters start to come alive and I just start to write what's in my head." Jay Z celebrates his 44th birthday yesterday(12/4) and he is doing it with a new lifestyle choice. The rapper and wife Beyonce are going vegan. He made the announcement yesterday (Dec. 3) on his Life+Times blog with a short note explaining that he and Beyonce will undergo a 22-day vegan challenge. “Why now? There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day…It just feels right!” Jay Z writes. Rapper The Game is doing it again, raising money to pay for the funeral of a 7-year-old boy killed during a shooting in L.A. this week. This is a crime that is believed to be gang related and an interesting twist, The Game tells TMZ, he's getting financial help from the city's top gang leaders. The Game told TMZ he heard about Talib Pecantte's death on the news and decided he wanted to do something for the victim's family, especially since it happened so close to Christmas.
