"THE VOICE" WRAPS AND "SMASH" BEGINS!!!
"The Voice" will wrap up with Rock and Soul Tuesday night. Both Smokey Robinson and Avril Lavigne have signed on for performances with this season's finalists including Nicholas David and Cassadee Pope. David, best known for his rendition of "Lean on Me," will perform with Robinson, while Pope will take the stage with Avril Lavigne. As previously reported, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and The Killers are also due to perform during tonight's 2-hour finale. "The Voice" season finale kicks off at 8 p.m. on NBC.
Jennifer Hudson might have a breakthrough performance on "Smash." In a recently released season two preview, the Oscar-winning actress and NAACP Image Award winning R&B singer sparkles and glows in a way we might not have seen since she played "Effie White." As previously reported, Hudson joined the cast of "Smash" earlier this year and has been busy filming a multi-episode arc. Hudson is playing Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star who "reached her Broadway dream but also paid a price for it."
